Another blessing for which to thank God: Hillary did not become President and launch bail-outs for all these bankrupt Democrat states, so the rest of us in solvent Republican states could get our taxes cut instead of having them raised for this forced “charity.”

Sooner or later there will be a Federal bailout.
Take it to the bank.

They will whip-up a “sky is falling” panic, just as they did for the banks in ‘08.

At the end of the day most Republicans will vote for it.

Liberal Democrats are right to blame Trump and his supporters for the economic conditions of their state. Trump, has snatched away their ability pass their state’s massive taxation onto the national tax payers. Instead of realizing the failure of tax and spend economics, they only see the Trump policy change as the cause for their pain. Ironically, their gripe is over the loss of a tax (loophole) heaven that benefited them.

It's interesting -- and pathetic -- to see how their states are dealing with this disaster. They all have the same approach, and New Jersey is a perfect case in point:

Push for massive immigration -- both legal and illegal -- so that minorities from Latin America, Africa and Asia can pay exorbitant taxes to cover the pension costs of retired white government workers who have moved to North Carolina and Florida to avoid paying New Jersey taxes.

Let’s say you sell pens.

You sell your pens for $1.

The State of Illinois wants to buy some pens from you.

You know that it will take them six months to pay, so you charge them $3.

Who loses?

The Taxpayer.

Take a close look at what the state of Illinois is paying for stuff.

Might be some kickbacks going on.

The only way we should bail them out is that they lose their statehood status for a period of 20 years.

If they wrote down state employee pensions to whatever level the fund could actually pay, most employees would probably still be getting bigger pensions that most private sector workers. That’s a key comparison to keep in mind when the SHTF.

New York’s more than $356 billion in debt;

So is Cuomo going to pay the retirees from his own bank account or will he bankrupt the state, or will he raise everyone's taxes even higher even in the face of already crushing taxes that are made worse by the now lack of deductibility?. Cuomo's ticking fiscal time bomb, too bad the "journalists" are too busy worrying about stormy and other serious issues like protecting their fellow liberals. Yep, CNN's Chris Cuomo won't be looking into this will he?

Lived in CT from mid-seventies ‘till the early nineties; about 16 years. Cost of living was fairly high in Fairfield County (in SW CT) where we lived, but in those days the state was still solvent. In neighboring Westchester County (NY state) the taxes were dramatically higher than in CT. So, at least then, it was more desirable to live in Fairfield County, which was within easy commuting distance of NYC. Then the democrats in Hartford started increasing corporate taxes & property taxes about a decade ago, to the extent several companies with corporate headquarters in CT started to bail. One of them being GE, which moved to the Boston area.

Message to blue staters:

You do NOT want to come to Alabama.

Everything you heard on TV is true!

We have thousands of toothless rednecks shooting guns, driving muscle cars and trucks with Rebel flags, marrying their cousins and fightin’ over things every day.

This is no place for your refined sensibilities.

Signed, AB in Alabama

Illinois can rot as far as I am concerned. It is beyond repair. I check the availability of real estate in Indiana at least twice a week. It is amazing how quickly property sells if it is within 10 miles of the IL/IN state line.

We need to pass a national law that state debts will not be bailed out by the federal govt - under any circumstances.

You KNOW they are going to try to soak the taxpayers in other states once they bleed their own taxpayers dry. It will be just like the auto manufacturers who swore up and down for years that they would never ask for a bailout.
