Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Diazepam and Carisoprodol.
That means Art could not count pills or he was a junkie.

I remember him saying that he was looking for a cure for his back pain years ago.

Ol’ Art kept me awake a few times when I was really too tired to keep working.
Even if his guest was fake, he still had cool bumper music. Sometimes the guest was so good, you couldn’t sleep if you wanted to.
Just another poor soul who wanted to leave the world a little better than he found it. No condemnations from me.

This kind of thing is more common than a lot of people might think. How easy is to forget the nightly dose was already taken then mistakenly take a second dose? In an elderly person it could suppress the breathing enough they would just stop breathing in their sleep and pass away quietly. It happens in younger people too but usually that’s more intentional.

The man basically fell from a telephone poll on to his back.He had chronic back pain and sometimes couldn’t do his show. Looks like he became addicted to these medications.

With all that went on, his wife dying and his son being raped by an HIV+ teacher, it may not have been as accidental as it is officially declared.

All it says is tha Bell was taking medications for his COPD, high blood pressure, and extreme back pain. We all knew that. That ain’t an overdose that is called his body wore out and it was time to go home.
Most anyone that is taking medications for such things would show the same on autopsy. Since most folks don’t have autopsy the death certificate just says natural causes....which is what this should have said. The sheriff didn’t say that he had lethal doses just those medications in his blood stream.

Uhuh, there it is, the benzo that was called Valium before and mixed with opioids. Now we know, in yet another case.
