I’m keeping an open mind. If the manager committed a crime, then she should be charged. If this is a witch hunt by the DA, however, I hope the defendant lays waste in civil court. And that DA should be disbarred and charged in criminal court.

Those foreigners who refuse to assimilate while running New Hampshire are violating our Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Either businesses may refuse service to any national origin or no national origin. They will eventually need to make up their minds.
As they say, “Africa ends at Termini” (the main train station in Rome).
The manager didn't even get to national origin. The couple wouldn't provide ID or a credit card upon check-in. Try checking in to a hotel/inn without providing ID and a credit card. Good luck with that.

I’d expect a good lawyer to advise the inn owner to have a juvenile “admit” to leaving the badge there.

This story sounds hokey. Get a real lawyer and win this case. Get a jury.
