Wow, that was a lot cooler than you’ve been dealing with there! That rain overnight helped a lot .... no immediate lawn watering necessary.
We thought we’d get some rain today but it fell everywhere BUT here. There’s some just below us coming up but we’ll see if it holds together long enough to give us a dose.
That corn was a pain last night but it was worth it. Can’t get fresh home-grown veggies in the winter and the stuff at the grocery stores doesn’t hold a candle to home-grown. When we want some of the corn I froze last night, it’ll taste just as good as the ears we ate last night.

We have to depend on frozen veggies. Not zowie!...but better than canned. Except spinich. i love canned spinich. Out of the can with Parmesan cheese sprinkled.

We’re getting a little bit of rain at the moment and more is slowly creeping up. It won’t cut the muggy factor at all though. Just makes it muggier. But we need it so we’ll just deal with it. It’s a way of life here. LOL
We aren’t fond of frozen veggies from the store. They’re tough. I guess the stuff sits too long after being picked before it’s frozen. I dunno. We just eat canned most of the time.
