T Koch bros spent millions to help get conservatives elected back in the Tea Party Movement days.
Neither Trump nor the Koch’s are traditional Republicans.
Neither are traditional liberals.
Koch’s are libertarians. To have them say they support tariffs would have been a shock, and they have never supported tight immigration controls, but they are not communists.
Trump is not a Republican at heart. He loves the country, he loves the people, and he acts on that. He is not afraid to kill a sacred cow or three to get his goals done.
The Koch’s and Trump have never gotten along. Co-belligerents at times, but never allies. Kochs have a goal of a libertarian/anarchist state modeled off of VonMises musings. Trump was the US to be like a well run firm that protects it’s own, and crushes the competition. Both are acting according to their beliefs.
I honestly find it rather refreshing.
If you know any Leftist ( regretfully ), challenge them to name a policy that they and the Koch bother’s differ.
Revealing that they plan to support Democrats.
Just love that TRUMP is pointing out the dirt and swamp that are supposedly on our side of the aisle.
