So the corrupt NYTimes turns this logical and fair idea into a “tax cut for the rich.”

The title is entirely predictable, true. But it isn't a tax break that would benefit the lower or middle classes so much as the wealthier taxpayers.

So when the government is more entitled to money than investors due to inflation, how does that benefit poor people?

But don’t the aggregate bottom 45% of people already pay ZERO income tax? How, pray tell, could you benefit them more? Stop collecting any tax from anoher 15% of wage earners? Explain how that is fair to the few that are left shouldering ALL of the tax burden.

Everybody needs skin in the game, even if you earn a pittance.
