MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Two teenage boys sued the Minnesota State High School League on Wednesday, alleging it maintains unconstitutional rules that bar boys from joining girls’ competitive high school dance teams. Dmitri Moua and Zachary Greenwald filed a federal lawsuit with help from their parents and the Pacific Legal Foundation, which has worked on similar cases with students in at least two other states. I thought the law was if there were no teams for girls, girls could join the boys teams. Why is the reverse not allowed?
It’s somewhat satisfying to see how women like it when the roles are reversed. However, I would not want to encourage this sort of ‘crashing the party’ behavior, especially not when it involves school kids who need to learn to accept certain rules and move on.

Fes was on the girls dance team and no one seemed to mind. Of course that was on That 70’s Show. Doesn’t the ballet always have guy dancers with the girls? Seems like a no brainer. The TV show Fame had guy dancers along with the girls. Soul Train has guys dancing with girls. At the high school prom there were guys dancing with girls.
