But a four foot three inches tall judge in a little black robe will rule that the Feds have no power to do this and will stop them instantly. You know this already happened about sanctuary cities, tragically.
What is happening has a name: Civil insurrection. Part of Civil War II. City officials choosing which Federal laws are fun to defy and which bring them some money so they go along. Sedition.

That is true--IMO what should happen is trump should say all lower court decisions will be ignored until the supreme court weighs in. A puny federal judge overruling a president is not in any way consistent with co-equal branches of government.

Not yet. When federal authorities and the Philly PD get into a gunfight, then it's insurrection, which would give Trump the authority to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.

This is what the Trump administration is faced with RIGHT NOW. This cannot be allowed to stand. But my guess is that they are waiting for something. Elections, another law-abiding SCOTUS judge? It will be a major Constitutional matter.
