We were being bled dry in the 1920’s. Industry was allowed to move overseas to avoid income taxes. Debt to cover those losses mounted. The new adherence to an old gold standard price artificially deflated values across the economy. FDR implemented socialism with his New Deal. Social security was new and having a dramatic negative consequence on the economy. The new federal income tax robbed the economy of needed money for investments and growth. The new property tax schemes were also robbing the economy.
Everything socialist destroyed the economy of the 1920’s and gave us the Great Depression along with a stagnant economy, similar to Obama’s.
Someone with more research skills than I possess needs to find the old info about BAIN CAPITAL—the company Mittens runs.
With a booming economy, Bain Capital doesn’t have companies they can snap up for 2 cents on the dollar & then clean out & sell the assets piecemeal. That leaves the stockholders & vendors out in the cold.

I would very much like to read a respected psychological study that explains why millions of voters will gleefully elect political candidates who have publicly demonstrated that they are totally untrustworthy and will reverse their position on virtually anything to get elected.
