VP Pence said Thursday that if Turkey does not take immediate action to free Andrew Craig Brunson, "the United States of America will impose severe economic sanctions on Turkey." He spoke at the close of a three-day conference on religious freedom.

And the Left continues to ignore these affronts to freedom of speech and of the press, just as they ignore Islams treatment of women. Because when it comes to Islam, its see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. But they are daily worked into a hysterical frenzy by Trump and every word that comes out of his mouth. You would think that he is the one silencing journalists and putting them in prison and limiting the freedoms of women. How can anyone with a shred of intelligence not see the contrast?
