Love/lust is blind!
I just watched an old movie for the first time the other night, “The Sandpiper” which starred Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. It was about lust and adultery.
It demonstrated (not that I didn’t already know) how the sexual desire in people can override all commonsense. People are willing to put their jobs, marriages, families, reputations, and even their country at risk.
It also reinforced how adultery poisons every single thing in a life, everything it touches.
A good movie, but sad.
