There is no bigger scam than affordable housing. It has failed everywhere it has been tried.

Ghetto people never “elevate” to their new plush surroundings, they just drag things down to the level of the miserable sh!thole they just departed a few months prior. As far as them on mass transportation, decent and law-abiding people are essentially at their mercy (and on their own) between stops.

That’s absolutely right; it seems the real scam with “affordable housing” is that people making a lot of money that know how to mask it end up in many units. Not ghetto folk, but working people.

There have been new constructions in my area (condo-type apartment buildings), and my understanding is that a certain percentage of the units have to be set aside for low-income (not even “affordable” - specifically “low-income”) housing. Anyone buying the other units is a fool; as I understand it, they are having a hard time selling them.
