When it comes to one of the biggest issues of the day — illegal immigration — the Justice Department has made a move toward the use of correct terminology within that department.
The DOJ, headed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions (shown above), has reportedly told its attorneys by email that the term “undocumented” is inaccurate according to U.S. Code, and that they should start using the legally correct term — “illegal alien,” as CNN.com noted

This should have been the policy since day one of Trump’s presidency - hard to understand why it’s only being implemented now. You can bet that if a Democrat is elected to the White House their justice department will immediately re-label illegal aliens.
I never used the incorrect term.
To me they were always illegal aliens or fraudulently documented foreigners.
He has never stopped doing his job. When he stops doing what he was hired to do he will no longer have that job.Trump is like that.

I have seldom seen the term “undocumented immigrant” used on FR except in quotes from MSM or being castigated.
Lots of people use illegal immigrant which is wrong as well, conflating immigrants with illegal aliens is always wrong.
The correct term for someone who breaks the law is not “illegal” it is “criminal”.

“Undocumented immigrant” - in other words a border intruder is the same as a legal immigrant whose documents were lost in a house fire.
Undocumented is patently ridiculous. It’s like a bank robber being called an undocumented account holder.
And really insulting to people in my father’s Generation who were stripped of their born German citizenship and became truly undocumented. The term then was Displaced Person. They floated around the world with no passport. England did give my child-aged father a passport eventually.
