The Loserman half of Sore-Loserman (you younger FReepers may have to look up Sore-Loserman) may not be as loser as we thought.

Be careful what you wish for Joe. You just might get it.

His wife is/was a big D.C. lobbyist. If the socialist take over she will be out of a job.

The Party of Lieberman and JFK is long gone…

My grandfather, a life-long and pretty prominent Democrat on the local level, figured this out in 1980 when Carter steered the ship into the iceberg. The realization that he was going to have to vote for Reagan left him pale and shaking.

Lieberman is right, for now. But it all depends on how the media sells those policies. As we all know, most of the media is hard left, and is getting more so each year.

He’s a dying breed, one of the last “reasonable” Democrats, if I can use such words. Reasonable, as opposed to today’s unhinged leftist Democrats.

Seems to be quite the civil war, or unrest, brewing in the democrat party. The tables have turned. Republicans are 88% behind their leader while the dems that are winning are the radical left. This will bode well for the good guys in November.

It is dawning on Joe in his dotage the harm his allegiance to the Democratic Party and its policies has done. At its core the Democrats are globalist, socialist, open borders advocates and anti Zionist. If they come to power they would in a microsecond betray the American nation and subject its people to a world government dominated by foreign Leftists. Make no mistake, the Judeo-Christian heritage would be destroyed.

So, he is against his party embracing socialism, not because it is wrong but because it wouldn’t garner enough vote to get them in office.

Wrong thinking again, Joe!

AO-C probably thinks she is “enlightened” by choosing to be a democratic-socialist. In reality, she has been duped into believing a murderous lie.

If Dianne Feinstein is too conservative for the new Democrats - they are in a heap of trouble...

What’s needed is a decent third party, one that really does stand for the best blend of conservative and libertarian beliefs. I don’t see the GOP being purified enough during the (hopefully) two Trump terms to fill that need.

But, I think that asks too much of our self-absorbed polity.

Lieberman may have been half of Sore-Loserman but he was never the pathetic dweeb AlGore was.

I think that Cortez woman really threw them for a loop- they expected to waltz through their primary as usual

But all you have to do is get a few people to vote for you and you can win a primary.

SO FEW PEOPLE VOTE that 20 or 30 of your cousins and neighbors can affect the outcome.

I remember in my district one year I asked how many people voted and they said 27. Not 27% 27 PEOPLE - all day.

If a few more Freepers had shown up we could have ousted a sitting congress-critter IN A PRIMARY

Vote for Joe! That was peak conservative politics. The conservatives switched parties in the 1988 general election and voted for Joe over the RINO Lowell Weicker.

How did that work out? Joe provide the critical vote for Gays in the military and Obama Care. Not to mention he nearly help Algorilla win the presidential election.

The Dems being honest about being socialists will further highlight the obvious and true party differences - Dems lose.
