There’s been two big wildfires on one side of us and now there’s one on the other side. We’re miles away so ok but a friend is packing up for evacuation warning and her husband is volunteering on site.
Park Rangers at Enchanted Rock state park said surface temperature 133 degrees.
BIL posted pics of his two bbq grills showing 150 degrees. No, he wasn’t grilling. That’s how hot TX is.

Hope the fires are contained quickly. According to our forecast, starting tomorrow the highs should be a few degrees lower, though still over 100.
So you could cook on the grill without lighting a fire.
Where are these fires...what state? Prayers that they are contained soon with no loss of life.
