I gave up on Sessions long ago.
The Keebler Elf needs to resign.
As an Alabamian, his continued presence and do-nothingness as AG is embarrassing.
I guess he just doesn’t have enough self-awareness to see how pathetic he appears.
Frankly, if my boss said the things President Trump said about Sessions in public (on Twitter) about/to me I would have resigned.
So staying in the job when you clearly have lost the confidence of your superiors means you’re protecting something or someone (Hillary) OR you are working with the superior in a sort of sting operation.
Q thinks its a sting but as more time goes on it appears more likely it is the deep state in CYA mode and/or the Clinton Protection Services in action.

I think Ole Jeff just isn’t very self-aware and actually thinks he’s effective. Just delusional, sure, but all those years in the Senate has an effect.

Sessions has some sort of blackmale-able offense and the liberals knew about it.
I have no doubt he was summoned into some deep state secret office, during the Trump campaign, and told there are pictures of his son with a little girl.
He was told to be a good guy, make friends with Trump, convince his base that he loves him as much as they do.
Then, of course, the recusal was planned.
Sessions was once perceived as such a nice guy but he’s on their side people.
