HAHA! But seriously, is there no statute of limitations? I never heard of this man before, and I’m not defending him in any way, but most crimes are not prosecutable (sp?) after some period of time, like 40+years.

After reading the list there are a few states with no statute of limitations for any crime, South Carolina is one.

In the US the statute of limitations "clock" doesn't run while you're living in a state other than the one in which the alleged crime occurred.The same could be true in Canada...leave the province where the crime occurred and it stops.
