I’ve been talking with my husband about this, asking what would it look like to see our society get back to normal. Would it have to be a grassroots effort? Would it involve a spiritual revival?
We saw a speaker at our church last week, who was herself once a self-proclaimed lesbian. She has since renounced that lifestyle after she accepted Christ and no longer identifies as anything but a Christian. She made an interesting statement. She said the LGBT community is so focused on acceptance because they are well aware that they stand on shaky ground. Most of its gains resulted from top-down (legislative) wins and that is the worst way to bring about lasting social change.
Again, I’m just trying to envision how this will ever turn around. The only example I can think of is the repeal of prohibition.
It’s crazy the speed with which this is due went from ultra-fringe to mainstream. Something is up with that.
The Obama administration government contracting guidelines actually encouraged this.
They used the “Out and Equal” index as one of the standards for ranking contractors. If your jets or rockets were of similar cost and quality, whoever had more social engineering in the workplace or deliberate outreach to various sexual minorities got the contract.
Between 2008 and 2016, all of the major defense contractors went from middling scores on the Out and Equal Index (usually same sex partner health benefits) to high or perfect scores. That meant mandatory company seminars on “trust and respect” stating that this meant never disagree with any LBGTABC demands or you’re an evil bigot, diversity training on how transgenderism is the new civil rights. All because of the financial incentives to do so.
Far cheaper to higher a few SJWs to teach those classes and fill out the paperwork than design a better jet or make the military program more cost effective. And those HR jobs are part of what X-studies graduates expected to get upon graduation. They’re the trained chekists of the liberal revolution.

Agree. Happened under Obama. Seems to have been accelerated thanks to Big tech, Hollywood, the CA - San Fran reps in US Congress. Normal people are rejecting - why should their daughters lost Athletics competitions & scholarships to “former” boys. Nice jumping-the-shark, ya dumb Rats - keep your adult issues to YOURSELVES, we see what you tried to do there, stay away from our kids.

I can’t prove my point but I am unnerved by the number of lesbian school principles I know about. Is it no wonder why our kids are confused?

I also believe people should pay for their own sex. if you have sex, (man or woman) there is a good chance the woman will become pregnant. If one does not want pregnancy, one of the 2 parties must pay for birth control. Why should society pay for your sex? Nobody ever use to ask for that!

Yeah, the worst of it all is the idea of medically and irreversibly transitioning someone before puberty. That is really just straight up child abuse.

/A female friend managed a group of employees, two who were transitioning to ‘female’. They were taking female hormones. Every few days they would become emotional and start crying for no reason.
I’m fine if the hormones cause trans women to get a bit emotional. I understand chemistry. Just don’t tell me you’re having a period. I also understand biology.
How about, no one cares what you choose to do with your private parts.

There’s plenty of health issues with men taking excess male hormones like baldness, roid rage, acne, liver damage, etc. I would be willing to guess similar problems could happen with men using female hormones.
