When I was a wee pup, I tried to convince Dad we should convert our '62 Bug with a Fiberfab Avenger kit. Would Dad listen to teenage car passion?Oh, nooooo....of course not.

There is nothing like a GT-40 knock off that sounds like an air cooled Bug.

Had the same discussion with my Dad regarding a Laser 917. I worked out the cost of the kit and all the options. He said, "I'll think about it." which I knew meant "No."

Avenger GT? Heck my dad just chopped the body off his VW bug and made a “strip down”. We used it to shoot jack rabbits from in central TX back in the late ‘60s-70’s.
