Although Erdogan got to re-write the Constitution, and pushed up elections to get himself installed into the newly powerful Presidency for the next five years, this step of ending the emergency sounds like a positive step.

More than 75,000 people have been detained under the emergency decree and more than 100,000 others have been dismissed from their government jobs for alleged links to followers of U.S.-based Turkish cleric Fethullah GulenAnd these 175,000 suddenly remember that somehow, someway, Turkey has avoided being charged with the Armenian genocide for over a century. Woops... Hey, Libtards...see that part about 100,000 losing their govt jobs? That's what happens in a real dictatorship. So knock off the Trump is Hitler schtick.
