You’re referring to the “fake news” NYT report of 7/6 which tried to paint Trump as an ignoramus on the facts.
It was Hillary and the media which started the “17 agencies” BS in October 2016. The compliant media continued that. When Trump challenged that notion this month, they came out swinging, saying “he misleads”.
Not so fast.
Trump has allies in the IC, but he’s far from in control.

Informed should be in quotes. Seeding misinformation is a common tactic used to entrap. That way if they ever ask him if he knew and says ‘no’ they can say ‘aha!’, because their guy on the inside already planted the poisoned bait.
This NYT article is being called the proof that Trump knew about the “collusion” and a lot of people think this is the slam dunk that Trump was ok with it or “knew.” These holy heads of intelligence came to Trump to let him know that (what, exactly? He didn’t really win??), and now this is a Gotcha for the left to Trump somehow.
This article is being taken very seriously, and I don’t know quite how to refute it with people who see the world from such a different perspective.
Is there any way any of this social media influence that may have come from Russia had any effect on the election? Every Trump voter I know was not affected by social media posts. I’ve known many of these FReepers here for years so I know they were not Russian bots. I was Pro Trump and I was not a Russian bot either. The typical Trump voter has to buck the mainstream EVERY DAY. You have to be tough to stand up against neighbors, family, media, etc and stick with what you believe is right. We aren’t swayed by silly unknowns online.

The Deep State informed him 2 weeks before his inauguration? Of course they did...the wheels were already in motion for them to “stop” him from becoming President. I don’t believe a damn thing that came out of Obama’s Intelligence apparatus.
Hacking computers is not “hacking the election”. Hacking the DNC computer is not “meddling the election”. Get over it. Obama said that presidential elections cannot be rigged, hacked, subverted, never have. Too big. Too complex. Not even in 1960 or 2012. Not even in 1864. Not ever. Don’t you believe Obama?
