This is reminiscent of Lisa Murkowski in 2010. She lost her primary bid during the Tea Party uprising but decided to run as a write in and won. Here’s hoping the candidate from the center of the New Democrat base loses the same way to a normal leftist.

Here’s hoping the candidate from the center of the New Democrat base loses the same way to a normal leftist. Not quite. Lisa Murkowski had to run a write-in campaign. Crowley will also be on the ballot, so all he has to do is run a more effective campaign. The results really hinge on the voter base and turn out.
