Wonder what their neighbors think?
I would hate that as a neighbor but good for them on winning.
The house looks godawful.
I would hate to have the misfortune to live next door or across the street from them.
If it were a U.S. flag or a nativity they would have been forced to burn the house down and pay the fines.
What an eyesore.
Yikes! But hey, this is America.
What if they painted “F Trump!” on the house?
I remember a TV show about fifty five years ago about some guy who painted his house an horrid color.
The mayor hated it, the neighbors hated it, the aircraft pilots began to use it as a landmark to an airport. after a court case, HE WON! Come to find out, he himself hated the color.
But no one complains. This is a beer town, after all.
Good for them, the lord mayor gets comeuppance.
I’d have no problem living across the street from them. What’s the big deal? Much better than living across from a perfect looking conventional house owned by a big asshole.
HUH! Dr Who fans perhaps?
My vision of what that house looked like was much nicer than reality. :(
As much as we love to hate them, Dealing with this sort of “art” is what HOAs are good for.
They should use some of their settlement to fix up their crappy yard.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I wouldn’t want to live next to that horrendous thing but the city was wrong.
Not what I would do, but they own the place, so they have every right to do it.
Meanwhile, cities like Reno, Nevada, have a MONTH LONG ‘ART TOWN’ party, and murals are painted all over the place, including CHALK ART on sidewalks near the Atlantis Casino.
90% of it is garbage, IMO....
I wonder what this mayor calls the gang graffitti that infests any population area over 300 people.
That’s the only van Gogh painting I like. But it sure is dreadful on a house!
