I do. There are many media. FreeRepublic is a medium and is no enemy.
No one here or in the article is blaming President Trump for the condition of the media today. I don’t know what it is about Marxism and its various derivatives that people gravitate to, but millions do, and they have gradually infiltrated most of our key institutions. I don’t know if we can turn things around, but at least we are trying thanks to one very courageous man named Donald Trump.

I have long predicted that when TSHTF and Civil War II begins, the enemedia will be the first to fall.

Our media is the PR wing of the Deep State/$oreA$$/Globalists. Below is a great summary of our mediots in action:
The media doesn’t support national borders. It opposes any attempt to preserve the American people in some meaningful form. It aids and abets enemies of the United States. It sides with fanatical ideologies waging war on America. It opposes the outcome of any election that its political allies don’t win.
The media claims to be very offended when it’s referred to as the “enemy of the people”. But it’s only the people part that offends it. The “people” are the vague and amorphous grouping that the left claims to be fighting for. Every leftist regime in history murdered the people in the name of the people.
Like every leftist movement, the media wants to destroy the American people… for the people.
The media believes that it is fighting for the people. By the “people”, it means illegal migrants, Islamic terrorists, MS-13 gang members, Baltimore drug dealers, black nationalist separatists and everyone who hates and wants to destroy the United States and the unique national identity of the American people.
A more accurate description of the media would be the:
“Enemies of the American People”.

I’ve posted it here before and I will post it again: We are living in one big re-education camp, courtesy of the “mainstream” media.

The politics of the left are geared at replacing Americans with leftists through a combination of indoctrination, demographic replacement, economic warfare and voter suppression.
And they've been very successfully bribed with it, not just in terms of power but also in celebrity and compensation. Heady stuff, but being apart from the other three estates means inevitably that they don't understand them, and attempting to control something you don't understand is a recipe for disaster. For one thing, as many commentators have noted, they don't appear to have a clue that the current direction of politics is due in a very great part to their own behavior. This is the case in both American political parties and to an astonishing degree in foreign and international politics as well. The Trumpists don't like them, true, but neither do the Bernie Backers. That ought to be setting off some serious alarms in the editorial boardrooms.
But they're too busy trying to exercise control to listen to any feedback. When the American people vote other than their - well, it isn't really a preference so much as a command these days - when that happens, the stick: the constant drumbeat of hostility, doom, and negativity that is designed to punish the audience. When the American people do vote their way, as they did in '08, the carrot: hundreds of saccharine articles enthroning such a creature as Michelle 0bama as a fashion icon, for example. They know it isn't true, we know it isn't true, the object is to get us to say it anyway and even believe it eventually. Those are not the actions of a friend.
If an actual foreign enemy were in charge of our news coverage, how different would it be?
Bearing in mind that not only the disobedient but the independent are their avowed enemies, not much. What has changed is that the political diversity once evidenced in the media has turned into a brutal ideological monolith with the takeover at the top of the journalism school grads with terrific family and political connections. These are feeling the heat from the alternative media and appear to be apoplectic about it - power once granted to them is supposed to be theirs forever and forever, world without end, a typical illusion of the Left in many other senses as well. I suspect that they'd be just this nasty in the face of the obedience they're demanding.
Agree with everything in this article. But also notice the underlying truth: the media no longer reports and comments on the news but advocates its positions as “factual news reporting”. The media should not have a position or advocate for a position, unless it does it in its editorials. It should not do it in its news pieces and represent them as facts. That is the basics of why it is the enemy of the people.
