President Trump said Tuesday that he misspoke when he said he doesn’t see why Russia would have meddled in the 2016 presidential election, clarifying that he accepts the U.S. intelligence community’s findings of election interference.
At the White House on Tuesday, the president told reporters that he meant he doesn't see why Russia "wouldn't" be responsible.
In Helsinki, speaking at a press conference next to Vladimir Putin a day earlier, Trump had said he doesn't "see any reason why" Russia would be behind election meddling.

Ditto. He didn’t say anything wrong at the press conference. No one with any brain would blame him for not trusting our “intelligence” since so many of those people are anti-American, seditious, delusional traitors. Screw them. I trust the Russians more than them and I don’t trust the Russians.
Oh, well, maybe this will settle down now, and the left will stop calling for Trump to be overthrown because he said something they don’t like.

Trump already knows it was Seth Rich. He had to go through this nonsense to quell the storm. But I like the way he mentions “other people” as a signal he knows the truth.
