What comes to my mind is this. What was eating Musk this much, that he was compelled to fire off that comment?

Was there something to it?

Is there something else so grave in nature, that he’s striking out when it’s uncalled for?

Bc Musk knows truit’s TRUE, it was just a publicity stunt and he got called out on it, the Tony Stark wanna be.

Musk isn't used to being told “no”. I mean, c’mon, the guy just had the US start a Space Force, with tacit approval from the President to shoot for the stars. I love how Trump said that anyone could go into space, put all that time and money into it, and then the US would take credit for it.

I think Musk is on the spectrum a tad...I usually cut geniuses some slack. In this case, however, no slack. Musk owes the cave guy an apology, delivered in the same manner as the insult.

He got his pride hurt when he went o the site and made some unworkable suggestions which he apparently insisted on. Instead of replying with a blank stare, Unsworth told him a better place to put his submarine. Musk didn’t take the counter suggestion very well.
