AG Hawley is up 2 over Mother McCaskill in MO. Remington Research Group poll. But worried about W Va. and of course, TN.

Manchin probably is going to keep his seat. Last poll had him way ahead. He actually can be made to vote with President Trump on many issues. Where he diverges is on health care. Federal medicaid money is going to be nonnegotiable for Manchin.

Sad to say, so many West Virginians depend on medicaid and subsidies for their health. There are a lot of disabled people in West Virgina. Some are from industrial reasons like black lung. Some are caused by poor lifestyle choices like uncontrolled diabetes and smoking, also drug addiction and alcohol abuse. Some are morbidly obese. And some are flat out grifters.

But anyone who says he's going to take away their health care is committing political suicide. Sad, but that's the reality.

A poll released by Axios-Survey Monkey on Tuesday July 11 shows that Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) leads Democrat Phil Bredesen by 14 points in the U.S. Senate general election, 55 percent to 41 percent among registered voters.

Among likely voters, Blackburn’s lead over Bredesen is even greater, 58 percent to 40 percent.
