Glad someone said it. It smelled like a self aggrandized self promotion stun from day one. He had criticized the divers from the start. The boys got out safe and sound and that’s all that matters. Musk running his mouth is uncalled for.

I lived and worked there for 3 years, found it rather charming. Met my wife there 40 years ago. We have a house or two there and I’ll either retire there or just commute a bit.
Elon Musk is worth about $20 Billion. The Thai owner of Thai Beverage is worth the same. And I’ll bet the Thai guy’s business is more stable.
Musk has accomplished an amazing amount of stuff, but -- speaking as an uneducated paraprofessional -- clearly has a deep-seated insecurity. :^) Anyway, it'll serve him right to have to, uh, pony up (whoops! bad choice of words) for his running off at the keys.
I won't be back to read the nonsense boilerplate that appears in every Musk-related topic.
