the Senate did not confirm Kavanaugh until 2006, by a vote of 57-36. Four Democratic senators voted in favor of his confirmation, but none remains in the Senate today.

Not true. Carper (D-Del) voted for him and remains in the Senate, though apparently he's already announced he won't be reprising his 'yea' vote.

Kavanaugh my be a great pick for SCOTUS. Hope he turn out to be much better than some of Trump’s other choices, Sessions to name but one, there are more.
