Have you seen this one?....

Usually all I saw was one of the small sectors. The composite screen for the system engineer had most of the planes controlled by the center.

I was on duty one Christmas nite and was looking at the big screen and did not see any slashes which represented planes. I told the systems engineer and he came over a bit concerned and looked and switched switches and said “There it is”. There was one plane in the sky.

Or as one Christian put it...”I’d rather worship my God in a building full of hypocrites than to let them keep me FROM worshiping God”. Amen to him!

"I VOW TO THEE, my country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."

Howdy, Kathy.

Any more rain for y’all this weekend?
We finally got a little shower this evening as I came home from the American Legion. Cooled things of nicely. Would have been nice if it had rained earlier because it was a toasty one today. UGH!

Howdy, PRO!

Trying to catch up on everything at once since I haven’t been on the computer all day.

Worked at the museum, came home and hosed off real quick, then went to a benefit dinner at the American Legion. They’re trying to raise money to do some improvements on their building. Central air is high on the list and is it ever needed. It was a bit warm in there but we all had a good time.

Our weather is about to give us a little break and cool off a bit for the next several days. Hope y’all get a break soon too!

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!

Amazing Grace
(Click)

By John Newton

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.

DEAR LORD, who suffered torment, agony, and death upon the Cross to free our souls from the chains of iniquity, protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the performance of their duties. Strengthen them to endure hardship, danger and deprivation in Your service.
