That’s what I was going to post. If they have no evidence of a crime, how can they indict someone for it?

Oh, wait. I forgot it’s our “justice” department at work here. The same people that threw Paul Manafort in isolation for some kind of tax problem.

President Trump needs to stop running around the globe and pay some attention to defanging these assholes because they’re hurting our country.

Sorry, it’s under investigation so we’ll never need to show evidence or prove anything.

You’ll just have the Rachel Madcows preaching to the brainwashed masses how “meaningful” this is.

Exactly. The headlines and the indictment are misleading. They say the Russians hacked the DNC. What really happpened is they attempted to hack it. There is no proof that they ever got in. This whole indictment sounds like it came from the intellegence assesment that was released last year. They say Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during the 2016 presidential election. That is not what the assessment said. What it said was that the hacks are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts. That is NOT the same as saying that Russia is responsible for the hacks. It is the hackers just use the same methods as Russian-directed efforts ( or more accurately - the Russian - directed efforts are using the methods the majority of hackers use worldwide ).

There is no evidence at all tying it to Russia. There are a lot of ASSUMPTIONS. They say it is Russian military AND civilian. All the evidence points to Russian civilian and they just include military in it. All their "evidence" is are a few domain names that end in .ru and a list of IP addresses from around the world. 70 percent of those IP addresses are TOR exit points which a majority of the hackers in the world probably use. NOTHING in it points to the Russian government. Another bit of "proof" they use are a list of hacker names. They say that these names are other names used by the Russians. They base this on that they used the same techniques as the "Russians". Well, yeah, every hacker ( and this includes the Russians ) in the world are going to be using the latest techniques, thus they will be using the "same techniques" . That does not make a hacker a Russian agent.

Mueller has never interviewed Assange- the one person who would know where the docs came from. He also seems to ignore the report by former NSA analysts ( the group Forensicator ) that showed the operation took 87 seconds. This yields a transfer rate of 22.7 megabytes per second. .... No Internet service provider, such as a hacker would have had to use in mid-2016, was capable of downloading data at this speed.

What is the maximum achievable speed? Forensicator recently ran a test download of a comparable data volume (and using a server speed not available in 2016) 40 miles from his computer via a server 20 miles away and came up with a speed of 11.8 megabytes per second—half what the DNC operation would need were it a hack. Other investigators have built on this finding. Folden and Edward Loomis say a survey published August 3, 2016, by www.speedtest.net/reports is highly reliable and use it as their thumbnail index. It indicated that the highest average ISP speeds of first-half 2016 were achieved by Xfinity and Cox Communications. These speeds averaged 15.6 megabytes per second and 14.7 megabytes per second, respectively. Peak speeds at higher rates were recorded intermittently but still did not reach the required 22.7 megabytes per second. That transfer speed is consistent with the speed of transferring a file to a USB stick.

This whole indictment announcement is just more of the political theatrics of Rosenstein. The press will lap up the headlines and claim hat Russia hacjed the DNC. When you actually look at their "evidence" it supports nothing of the sort.
