You can’t spin this as a win from Trump. Is is going to be the mid terms and the 2020 election topic for the Dems.
Russia was indicted for meddling with HRC campaign. No matter what else happens, the Dems will run with this and use sympathetic judges to advance their claims.
And this will have an effect on the USSC nomination. The talking point will be that since Russia is “proven” to have meddled in the election, does Trump have the “authority” to appoint anyone?
This might or might not work out for the Dems, but it was not a win for Trump.
NONE of this has been a win for Trump. No, this isn't chess. This is an outright coup, and the GOP is doing exactly what it does EVERY time: NOTHING. Do we even have an AG???
