(6) The studies are shallow (at best, one temperature characterizes a given geographic location, ignoring the depth of the atmosphere).
I teach my kids critical thinking skills. Wonders follow.
They were trying to shove it down our throats in Florida when I was a third grader. That was the year we first went to the Moon, to give you an idea how long ago that was.
Especially, don’t oversimplify an awesomely complex thing.
Wasn’t that the “Ice age fear” era? Same kind of Chicken Littling, just a different direction.
It’s a religion.
Teach them climate change is a natural process that has always, and will always happen- and man has absolutely nothing to do with it because we don’t produce anywhere near enough CO2 to blanket the earth and trap in heat globally. Teach them the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere as a result of man takes up just 0.00136% of the atmosphere- nowhere near enough CO2 to affect the climate one iota- therefore there must be a natural cause for climate change- then point at the sun
lol thanks for the laugh- that was priceless-
Volcanoes and other variable natural sources can boost the world CO2 level. I am not sure whether we’re even measuring the world CO2 level in more than one place! I think I remember hearing the complaint that it’s near the active volcanoes of Hawaii.
I teach elementary school, the texts we use absolutely crams climate change down their throats. Of course, there are pictures of industries spewing black smoke into the air which I always point out was probably taken years ago.
I just tell them one thing: 1) its a fake, political propaganda campaign designed to take your money, guilt you and every other normal citizen into doing things both bad for the country and bad for you personally.
When my daughter was in 3rd grade, they studied a chapter on global warming.
I sent her to school with a 1970s era National Geographic lamenting the coming ice age.
Liberals never change.
That’s the modern one... yeah, this is the modern black-moth meme.
They’re liberal about anything except trying to understand why the things that conservatives care about also matter.
Either taken years ago, or taken in China.
Exactly! It’s bad when the story is labeled expository when it is actually persuasive. (Liberal Persuasive)
They need to learn that short-window data snapshots are useless when evaluating long-trend terms.
We are going to need to amass 5000 years of data to have even the slightest clue as to whether our activities are affecting the climate or not.
7. These ‘studies’ are all financed by our tax dollars, through the very politicians who stand to get VERY wealthy when/if they finally get us to fall for it all and give them total control over us - all to “save the planet.. “
