Put him in a sealed room and flood it with 100% dry nitrogen. He’ll be stone cold dead in minutes ... and won’t feel a thing.
If they can control the drug after it is legally purchased, then why aren’t they responsible for misuse after sale?

I would love to see the family members of the people he killed show up on the doorstep of this pharmaceutical company and camp out there until justice is served.
If tens of thousands of their supporters showed up too, so much the better.
Then let the pharmaceutical company deal with the backlash.
It amazes me why the execution process is used with drugs that then entail the manufacturers refusing to provide them.
Put them in a sealed chamber and flood it with nitrogen. You just go to sleep and die. Flood it with carbon monoxide, you just go to sleep and die but you do turn very red. Flood it with Freon, you just go to sleep and die very quickly. The above three methods are cheap, painless and 100% effective. If you can breathe it works. If you can not breathe you are dead anyway.

I am not a great proponent of the death penalty unless for most heinous crimes. However some evil doers really need to die if all the evidence is rock hard solid against them. Innocent men and a few women have been hanged for crimes they did not commit.
In the past men have been executed for rapes they did not do. Even today men are released from jail due to DNA evidence that shows they did not rape a woman for which they languished in jail for many years.
Sending a man or woman to jail for life or taking their life is serious business. It must be 100% sure. This standard also insures some guilty will walk free. These are tough decisions for a jury.

They should use confiscated heroin. Drug users take it because they like it. No cruel or unusual punishment there.
