Ohio Senate candidate Rep. Jim Renacci pledged he would serve only two terms if he beats Democratic incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown.
Renacci signed a pledge in Cincinnati saying he would limit himself to two terms and tweeted a photo of himself. Im a small biz owner, not a career politician like Brown. Thats why Im pledging to the people of Ohio to serve no more than 2 Senate terms, he said.

2 terms? Like the voters believe him. Most people can’t remember past 2 weeks.
The Contract with America guys all said they would get out after two terms (or something close to that). When the time came for them to step down, they all said “but I finally have seniority, I can get things done! Now isn’t the time to walk away, that would be bad for our state!” And a bunch of them are still there to this day.
This won’t help him any more than Bob Dole stepping down as Senate majority leader in the summer of 1996 helped Dole to unseat the popular BClinton.
Brown is up 15% + and this is the response from Jim Renacci. Brown will be up by 20% in September.
When Susan Collins first ran for the U.S. Senate in Maine, she, too, promised to serve only two terms. She lied!
She’s current on term four or five....I forget which.
Yeah, why shouldn’t he? Minimum work and maximum benefits! Now, decline the party and benefits and THAT’S showing some signs of service!
She is in the last part of her fourth term, I checked. People in ME really believe in her.
So, he is a lame duck from the start. Smart.
“People in ME really believe in her.”

Not me....I live in Maine.
In 2014 I wrote in the name of a local businessman I know instead of voting for Collins. This guy is running for the Maine House this Fall.
Collins keeps getting re-elected because every six years, the RAT party runs some obscure female, left-wing moonbat state senator that no one ever heard of. Collins ends up looking good in comparison.....which she is not.
Blue state GOP candidates should agree to serve only the first 2 YEARS of the first term and then subject themselves to the voters again in 2020 when the Trumpeter is up for reelection. Pick one or 2 issues that Trump stood for and help him over the top. Where would this work? Good question. probably wouldn’t. Mancin over the coal/tax/Schumer issue? Virginia(just 2 years for the whacko Stewart). How about build the wall and eliminate Obamacare? ‘Offer’ the rats the seat back after 2 years. Nothing to lose. They’ll lose anyway if the state is blue.
