the skit, which was reportedly unscripted and unauthorized by pageant authorities, Then how did it get onstage?

I wonder if she's related to the first Miss America, Margaret Gorman (below in her swimsuit in 1921).

A cutie. Just as well to stay away from the beauty pageant since it's lowered itself to a radio program.

>>Like Hagen, Gorman had used her platform as a crown winner to bring awareness to a subject close to her. But a beauty queen speaking out about sexual assault isnt always a popular message. I think society blames victims, Gorman told the Globe in 2015. Im trying to remove that blame. My goal is to be that light at the end of the tunnel for those who feel stuck in the darkness.
BigMedia doesn’t like to address such scandal because they are party to child abuse and have been for decades.

It turns out that no matter how horrible an experience you’ve been through, it’s still not license to impose an extreme left-wing political view and the resulting general humorlessness on everybody else.

GTA "A further apology from the skits writer on Monday claimed that the joke was intended to be a nod to the #MeToo movement, not a knock on it.
No good deed goes unpunished. But if they're really serious about the #metoo (metool ?) movement they of all people, being from Maas. should consider the exploits of those wild wild Kennedy boys. Maybe it's time to end the love affair with the Kennedy mystique (mistake?). They'res a gov't center in Boston, an airport in NYC, a performing arts center and outdated football stadium in DC plus many highways byways bridges buildings schools parks and landmarks that need to be renamed.

#MeToo has nothing to do with the actual victims of rape...

She also noted that when she finally won, the year I spent fulfilling my duties as Miss America had absolutely nothing to do with how my body looked. Instead, I used my body to bring awareness to the issue of child abuse by advocating on behalf of organizations focused on the issue.

Seems like she should have been offended by all the women posting
I think a male co-worker looked at my behind too long when I left the room so I reported him to HR. PoundMeToo
And all the supporters who said
That's terrible. He needs to be fired. We can't allow any difference of treatment between men who may look at a woman to long and men who gang rape teens. PoundMeToo
I think the movement made a mockery of itself long ago. And she should been one of the most outspoken for those who were truly abused vs those who thought they may have been harrassed.

If they want a real beauty contest, they should have a segment with no make up.
