HERO!

One diver died in the first rescue, delivering oxygen and not having enough left for himself!

Photos of the water pumping team. Many of them are from private sectors. They brought their machines from all over the country to thamluang for pulling the water out since the very first day till now.

Please just leave the insane idiot ass-hat, Coach inside the cave.
He should never be allowed to walk freely.
He is criminally responsible for attempted mass murder

Your post is nonsense.....that is not at all how the Thai people see the Coach.. They see the coach as keeping their kids alive...he helped these kids to remain calm, forfeited eating himself because he new the food had to last for the kids, and taught them meditation to use less oxygen. Plus he led these kids away from the flood waters.

I used to scuba dive and hated when anything at all touched my tank. I practiced changing tanks in the water but only at the surface (like thats where you are gonna have a screw up!).You would have never gotten me to go diving in a cave. NEVER.

We have a few. I know in the late 90s, we found one that was very nice. It starts off with a 75 ft rappel though heh.

Mind boggling bravery, courage, skill, training, smarts, teamwork, calm amongst the crisis. Every single person involved in this harrowing rescue deserves accolades. Truly courageous actions by all involved in this rescue. So well done

According to the head of the rescue operation, the healthiest boys were the first to be taken out.

No.

And it is international news because as a species we tend to respond when children are in peril. It is a biological imperative to care.

“Our behavior is different. How often have you seen a headline like this?--TWO DIE ATTEMPTING RESCUE OF DROWNING CHILD. If a man gets lost in the mountains, hundreds will search and often two or three searchers are killed. But the next time somebody gets lost just as many volunteers turn out. Poor arithmetic, but very human. It runs through all our folklore, all human religions, all our literature--a racial conviction that when one human needs rescue, others should not count the price.”

- Robert A. Heinlein

That top graphic is good but may lead some to believe it’s a short distance. It’s actually at least 2.5 MILES between the cave entrance and there the boys and coach are.
