Lets get em out safe and sound...first...HOLLYWOOD can and should keep their money grubbing truth twisting paws off of this.
It happened more than once! LOL
Yer in a very unfriendly environment.
These kids will make it.
Finding them alive is 90% of the puzzle
As far as I can tell, he called there a couple of times, but is still making/testing the thing here in the US. But, his followers are gleefully praising him for the rescue, and he’s cleverly not letting them know the truth. Guess he likes attention.
Meditation may have also kept oxygen consumption lower than normal breathing...
The huge search and rescue operation began not long after the boys became trapped. They had entered the caves - a local attraction they’d been to before - on 23 June, after morning football practice.
As they explored, there was a torrential downpour outside and the entrance became blocked. To escape the rising water they moved several kilometres further in - eventually reaching a small area of dry land. Staff from the national park noticed their bicycles left outside and by 01:00 that night the search began.
Hope you are correct....most likely experts know how to do these things...
Thai cave rescue: What we know so far
As rescue operations are suspended overnight, we take a quick look back at Sunday’s events:
The mission began at 10:00 local time on Sunday (03:00 GMT)
The first boy emerged from the cave at 17:40 local time
In total, four boys have been taken to hospital in Chiang Rai
The rescued boys, who were escorted out by 13 foreign divers and five members of Thailand’s elite navy SEAL unit, are in good health
The operation was paused just before 21:00 local time (14:00 GMT) and will resume on Monday
Eight boys and their coach are still to be rescued
I did some cavern & cave diving back in the ‘80s, but nothing as complex as this. Diving in a normal cave is difficult but with the proper training and equipment it can be done relatively safely. This situation, however, is anything but normal. The combination of water filled and dry passages makes for a very strenuous and dangerous passage. Climbing thru a muddy, rocky, cave passage while wearing cave diving gear would be extremely difficult and exhausting. Bravo Zulu to the Thai SEALS and all the military divers from wherever. They are certainly earning their Hazard Pay in this operation.
Thanks....and keep those water pumps blazing..
A touching quote about the coach from a mother of one of the boys trapped in the cave:
When he comes out, we have to heal his heart. My dear Ek, I would never blame you.
Wow! Just the thought of it makes me feel ill.

Thanks for your comments. I’m sure it’s a treacherous situation. Great that some have now been rescued.
I just was surprised to read the diver who died had run out of oxygen. Felt so sorry for his family. I don’t know anything about cave diving, thought he would have dived with plenty of oxygen. That’s what I didn’t understand.
