My Supreme Court recommendations in order: Ive endorsed Mike Lee, who would be the gold standard. My 2nd choice would be Bill Pryor & my 3rd choice would be Amy Barrett. All 3 of these individuals are solid constitutionalists. That is the only basis for nominating a person to the Supreme Court

I still don’t get why Mike Lee is the gold standard.

No offense Mar, but I’ll take your recommendations with a grain of salt.
Well, maybe a just a little offense...

With his prior hostility to Trump I don't see how Mike Lee could possibly be nominated.
There's also the difficulty of getting him confirmed when he vacates his Senate seat and the GOP loses his vote in the confirmation process.

The first two will probably not make the cut this time.
The 3rd, Barrett has a good chance.
But who really knows who Trump will pick?

Lee on the SC and Romney in the Senate would likely spell trouble for POTUS for the foreseeable.

But who really knows who Trump will pick?President Trump might do better choosing someone the maniacs aren't anticipating. Catch them off guard.

Now all Levin has to do is be elected president and his opinion will matter.

He did it last time, no reason to deviate from a winning formula.

He is a Senator until he is confirmed. He would vote for himself.

Mark was a “never Trumper” who finally came around (but he could flip again).
A bit slow, that one. Took him three tries to come up with Barrett.
To: conservative98
Lee has 97.43 life time rating by American Conservative Union. He an idiot when it comes to Trump but solid otherwise

Did he go on a tirade against Trump while he gave the nomination?

That itself would be a bad move simply for the political optics of it.
