Forget the Golden Arches of McDonalds, or the Whopper at Burger King, even the double double of In-N-Out Burger. Chick-fil-A is the tops for those wanting a fast meal.
The chicken chain was named the favorite limited-service restaurant by consumers according to the 2018 American Customer Satisfaction Indexs Restaurant Report, USA Today reported.
Chick-fil-A beat out other restaurants like Panera and Taco Bell based on interviews with 22,500 customers. They were asked about the products, services and satisfaction, USA Today reported. Specifically, those polled gave their ranking on a variety of topics including food quality and restaurant cleanliness, Fortune reported.
Georgia-based Chick-fil-A had a rating of 87 out of a possible 100, Fox Business reported. The company earned $8 billion in revenue in 2016, according to Fox Business.
Rounding out the top 10:
1.Chick-fil-A
2.Panera Bread....

And closed Sundays!
I ate there a couple times, found it mediocre at best.
Ok, who FReeped this poll? :)
You must have found the worst one in the country. Everywhere Ive been, they have outstanding. Best fast food, by far.
Give me McDonald's fries any day. Give me a Burger King hamburger. (And Burger King lost me for a while with their horrific advertising, worse than Denny's, which I still don't go to.)
And any list that has Panera Bread as number two is BS.
No one goes there around here, it is too crowded.
In addition to good food, you get:
-Friendly employees without pissy attitudes;
-Clean environment;
-No worry about contaminated food (spitting, etc)
A classy place, run by classy people.
My wife is a floor covering rep/decorator, and has done a couple of jobs for the Cathy family, here in Georgia. She met some of the family and raves about what great people they are.
For just fast food taste I prefer Kentucky Fried Chicken. The original recipe.
Panera Bread, where liberals and millennials go to eat.
I had lunch at the Tallahassee Chik-fil-A. Every spot in their parking lot was full at 11:30. Cars were parking at the restaurant across the street and people were walking over. The two-lane drive through was full all the way to the street. The service was fast and courteous. I had to ask a woman if I could join her at the empty chair at her table and she said yes. Two employees came by to ask if everything was okay.
The food was awesome. I had never eaten at a Chik restaurant until the marriage controversy. Then, as I was living in an apartment near a temp job, I ate dinner there several times per week. Great food. Wonderful staffs. So much better than McDonald’s, “Yeah, waddayawant?”
Thanks for the chuckle!
One reason it is such a happy, clean place is that politically active liberals don’t go there. No liberals means no drivers in front of you stopping the flow by arguing because they can’t get a hamburger, at a chicken joint. Inside, you find a definitely cleaner class of people, on both sides of the counter.
When I was on facebook, I endorsed Chik-fil-A during the ‘marriage’ controversy and lost over 30 liberal ‘friends’. Without doubt, it was my best single day’s work!
Yes, KFC to me has more flavor. I like the crispy (spicey) myself and their coleslaw definitely a 10 of 10.
I liked it the few times I’ve gone but to be honest, I’m not a great fan of chicken sandwiches. I like fried chicken a lot, but a chix sandwich just doesn’t float my boat.
Their lemon flurry drink, or whatever they call it, is top tier. Best around.
No axe to grind with the chain, but I have to be skeptical about this ranking, if only because I live in a major metropolitan area and wouldn’t have any idea where to find one of their restaurants. The only time I’ve been to one was when we were visiting another state. (I understand that there may be some in our region, now. Somwhere...)
How could a chain achieve such a rating without the saturation that McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Panera, et al, enjoy?
(I do like that the ownership adheres to values and principles that I find admirable, though...)
Everyday at Lunch, all three Chik Fil A’s in town are like that.
Agreed. I have admiration for their ethical and moral stands and their outstanding service practices but I’ve found their food to be unremarkable.
I really don’t understand people rhapsodizing about their food.
I’m guessing that the overall positive experience of eating there influences their opinion of the menu.
Tell it to Vestal, NY. Rochester and Syracuse have a Chick Fil A, but Vestal is stalling on approving one. Could it be because of SUNY B and Broome, and all their flaming lefties...?
