Being a Congress critter should have been the highest position he ever won. Being Governor was already a step too high. A real shame since he was great for a good stretch. Met him after a speech which was very funny he gave at a local university years ago. I have no idea what caused him to lose it. Endorsing Hillary would seem to negate much of his work for a few decades previous.
