Exactly. They're looking for that Kent State moment. Just one useful idiot unwittingly and literally taking a bullet for the team. Then after the body is bagged, tagged and chilling in the ME's office and the yellow tape comes down the area is filled with wreaths, flowers, heart shaped.balloons and teddy bears. Then while the grief counsellors are out and about the candlelight vigil is organized, 100 or so people singing This Little Light of Mine while schlepping around like so many extras from the Walking Dead. Next the family attorney holds the pressers surrounded by relatives holding blown up pics of the "victim" typically in a cap.and gown, suit and tie, etc. BTW,this is a cheesy stunt goes back to the Bernie Goetz case. Then the hack politicians get their face time spewing their B.S. about ending the epidemic of gun violence. And lets not forget the H-wood a-holes use their star power to chime in. Then the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, etc lament about how Trump brought a coarseness, divisiveness and nastiness to political discourse, as if there's ever been a genuine modicum of decorum in politics to begin with. SO, who wants to be a martyr?
