TMZ staffer Van Lathan seemed to defend the man’s behavior in a Thursday tweet, writing,
“Wish I could take the high road. But your MAGA hat reads like a swastika to me. So ummm … hmmm. Yeah. Maybe I’m no longer a decent person.”
Nazis = walled ghettos for “undesireable untermenschen.”
Walled ghettos lead to concentration camps, torture and mass murder.
MAGA has yet to produce a single ghetto, has yet to produce one single concentration camp, has yet to torture anyone and has yet to even produce a plan for mass murder, let alone the reality of same. In fact, MAGA aims for exactly the OPPOSITE - a country where everyone legally here can be safe, and can have economic opportunity, and has taken significant steps toward those goals.
My wife’s uncle was in a 4 different concentration camps, lost his entire family to Nazi murderers and had the numbers on his arm and the lifelong psychological torture to prove it. Van Lathan has NO F’ING IDEA what he’s talking about and, by equating a peaceful, law-abiding effort to produce peace and prosperity with Nazism and all of its works, he has essentially denied that the works of the Nazis have actually occurred.

I was raised to tolerate opinions not in agreement with mine. I was raised that Nazis and skinheads and other objectionable groups have a right to march. I was raised that this is a free country. I don’t have to agree with any other opinions.
