Could the court continue to define more strictly the definition of life? The heartbeat and blood flow comes at about 5-7 weeks, iirc.

At some point, they have to admit that the only route to life is through a mother, and that that mother herself availed herself of that route.

So, it is a “right of way” to an encircled property case in a way.

If the justices were smart, and they are not, then if given the opportunity they would simply uphold the state restrictions on the case at bar and rule that Roe was wrongly decided and that the situation as it existed prior to Roe is restored; i.e., that the issue of the right to life and the abortion issue will be the province of the states sin state jurisdictions and congress in Federal jsurisdictions.

I don’t think they will engage in making scientific definitions of life. If they did that, then they would have to declare all abortions except court ordered abortions for purposes of self defense to be unconstitutional. If Trump can appoint 2 more justices before leaving office, I think Roe will be overturned. I don’t trust Roberts.
