Believe it or don’t but RVW is not really an important issue at present
There is sound and fury but that is all

R v W can wait. With a sound bench of conservative judges who know the law, POTUS can enforce laws already on the books without the worry of liberals threatening to appeal to the SCOTUS. They wouldnt even waste their time knowing it would be thrown out. The the wall gets built and we start MAGA!

Roe was the worst decision since Dred Scott ( and at least there was constitutional basis for Scott)

What a bunch of nonsense.
So tired of the white noise.
Trump is going to landslide in 2020, and the more all our nutter the snowflakes and old hippies go the more he will win by.

If states are suddenly given the power to ban abortion, that changes the election -- completely. [...] It's about putting people in power in the House, the Senate and the Oval Office who can restore your right to choose.Except that a Court that says there's no Constitutional "right" to abortion would also know that there's no Constitutional authority over abortion for the House, the Senate or the Oval Office. Freaking moron.

Roe is not going to be overturned in his first term... or his second term.
I doubt it will be overturned at all. Maybe watered down.

The Roberts court has begun to form a pattern of punting back to the states rather than actively writing law that will affect generations, as the Marshall court did. This has the effect of trimming previous decisions down an inch at a time and allowing future discussion.
So Roe may end up surviving, but it will look like a skeleton after a school of piranha fish hit it.

I keep reading predictions that Trump will alienate voters by keeping his campaign promises. So far, that hasn’t happened, and I doubt he’s worried about it this time either.

Strategy, scare Republicans into thinking it would be bad for us politically to overturn Roe.
Thoughts?
