We and our neighbors routinely call the cops when we have unlicensed solicitors, peddlers, or strangers lurking in or canvassing our neighborhood. We don’t care one whit if the person is white, brown, yellow, black, purple, crimson, or chartreuse. We are equal opportunity cop-callers.

I think campaigning door-to-door these days is idiotic. It just bothers people. This isn’t 1910, and there are lots of other venues to get your message out.
