The Holy Family had a very good reason to ask for asylum. I doubt many, if any, of those carting their children up here are facing a government execution order.
The Holy Family weren’t asylum seekers of any sort. They were traveling within the territory of the Roman Empire under the umbrella of Pax Romana.
It would be like leaving Texas to go to Idaho.
These churches who make out Jesus as a refugee or Mary as unwed or other novelties are simply liars for a cause.
