(CNN)The Justice Department's senior-most career attorney, Associate Deputy Attorney General Scott Schools, is stepping down for a job in the private sector.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions made the official announcement Tuesday afternoon that Schools' last day would be Friday. "Scott has provided invaluable leadership and counsel in his years at the Department, and his service is an example to all," Sessions said in a statement. "He will be greatly missed, and I wish him the best in his future endeavors." Schools works under Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and has had a significant role helping manage special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

WWHHHAAT? Hello, hive-mind, we need insights!! "Another attorney at the department, Bradley Weinsheimer, will replace Schools in an acting capacity but will not oversee Mueller's work. Weinsheimer has 27 years of experience working at the Justice Department, the department's news release said."

This is very fishy and smelly. Sessions announces on Tuesday that Friday is Schools last day, 4 day notice. This guy is working with Mueller's witch hunt and will not be replaced.

Word Origin and History for frog march
also frog-march, 1871, a term that originated among London police and referred to their method of moving “a drunken or refractory prisoner” by carrying him face-down between four people, each holding a limb; the connection with frog (n.1) perhaps being the notion of going along belly-down. By the 1930s, the verb was used in reference to the much more efficient (but less frog-like) method of getting someone in an arm-behind-the-back hold and hustling him or her along like that.

old or new method?

I will hazard a guess. Wray and shifty know they’re going to have to give up the unredacted memos and they’re starting some damage control cause this career official was knee deep in the deep state.

This is exactly who you expect to be deep state. High level career bureaucrats. I wonder if he was a political appointee and promoted to career bureaucrat and if so who’s administration.

“Unique opportunities” are best taken because someone powerful wants you out of the way. So we can definitively establish that someone wants Scott Schools out of the way. It appears that Ed O’Callaghan will continue in the role both men had been fulfilling.

According to wiki, Ed O’Callaghan was 1/3 of the “Truth Squad” that was supposed to protect Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin was not well protected, needless to say. We don’t know who the weasel was that I know of. He helped her with Troopergate according to wiki, and then he got out of politics after that until coming back to help Trump.

That is all I’ve got.

It may be that he was the evil person who screwed over Palin, but there was a Bushie on the team who seems more likely.

It could be that he is a Trump loyalist and the Cohen situation is going to present some problems.

One thing is for sure. Somebody has been running interference for Trump throughout this process.

I think this says it all.

Sessions is booting him. Now Mueller will either be put under tight controls or he will run wild.

We will have to wait and see.

My hope is that they will chain him to the dog house.

Fail they will.”
