The US cannot “stop immigration” with our current historically low birthrate. We would have a huge labor shortage.
I understand it but some of his statements are a bit unfair.
And in fact he hardly addresses illegal vs legal immigration.
To say “better” people who can leave should just stay home and make their home better is silly. They cannot make it better for various reasons. That is why they wish to escape.
And then he concludes with “help them at their home countries”, which actually implies we’re still sending tons of aid to foreigners. So which is it?
