President Trump hosted the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the White House Monday. The mainstream media was on hand to embarrass itself. Benny Johnson reports:
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, was clearly shook by all the reporters shouting questions. Trump told the PM at the beginning of the meeting that it’s like the “Academy Awards” as all the cameras flashed. After the presser, reporters continued shouting at the top of their lungs at the pair of world leaders.
Rutte turned to Trump, bewildered and asking “Is it always like this?” Trump whispered something to him that was inaudible – but caused the both to laugh.
It’s always like this now. It wasn’t like this when Barack Obama was president.
I think the Dutch Prime Minister’s shock and bewilderment at the mainstream media’s behavior mirrors the reaction of the average, non-highly partisan American. Do White House reporters realize this? Do they care?
I don’t know, but I hope they keep it up. That way Americans can see the Trump-hating partisans who purport to provide honest coverage of the Trump White House for who they are.

Trump continues to amaze me with his handling of the press. Like demons trying to get an off the cuff remark or jester.
It is very embarrassing - especially when Trump hosts the leader of another nation for an official visit.
Trump is actually a pretty good sport when it comes to the Jim Acosta media.

President Trump seems to be available to the press on an almost daily basis. He seems to always be engaging the press. I think he is very comfortable with his positions.
Yes, it is always like this. The difference is that Trump doesn’t give an Amsterdam.
Every time the media shouts and yells like barnyard animals, the more human and statesmanlike they make Donald Trump appear by comparison.
Do they want to turn Donald Trump into Winston Churchill? Keep yelling.

I am ecstatic how the MSM is behaving and outing themselves in the process. There are millions of Americans in the political middle who refused to believe there was any bias in the MSM who are now waking up to it.
When they hear the IG report conclusions and don’t see it mentioned anywhere on the news the next day, they are beginning to wake up.
When Trump holds a rally with dozens of relatives of the victims of illegal aliens and the MSM does not report on it the next day, those millions are waking up.
When Trump gets the North Korean Dictator to agree to de-nuclearize his nation and the MSM doesn’t mention a word about it the next day, those millions are waking up.
No, the hard leftists will never wake up to the MSM bias because their world view and their very lives depend on staying blind to it, ignoring it, and pretending it does not exist. We don’t need them. All we need is for the political middle that never really thought the MSM was biased to wake up to it. That is enough for Trump to win the swing states in 2020.
Trump is a lock for re-election and the MSM is making every mistake in the book to insure it.
